Workout Journal – 4/15/17 – taxing workouts

You see what I did there?

I took an unscheduled rest day yesterday because I had too many things to do and places to be to fit in a workout. I also had a date with my wife and Legs and Back was on the docket, and I didn’t want to be a zombie on date night.

So, today was Legs and Back. Ugh.

I say that again – ugh.

Have I mentioned how much I detest P90X Legs and Back? I’m pretty sure I have. It’s just hard.

It’s not just physically demanding, it’s mentally and emotionally draining.

Bitch. Whine. Complain.

Normally I’d convince myself that as I progress through the program I’d start liking this one as I adapt and get better at it. Nope. Not gonna happen.

This workout is medicine. Like that terrible tasting cough syrup someone made take when you were a little kid. Not tasty. Not enjoyable. Just necessary.

I know I need it. I know it’s good for me. Do not want to do it. Not ever. Nope.
