Workout – 2/13/14

Today was my wheelhouse – The Challenge.

108 pull-ups / 245 push-ups.

Let that sink in for a moment.

I did 108 pull-ups and 245 push-ups in 30 minutes.

This is one of those “your results may differ” moments. Seriously. If you’re just starting out there is no way these are going to be your numbers. Heck, if you’re a veteran of P90X and X2 they might not be your numbers.

I always thought I had weak upper body strength because of my genes. Turns out I had weak upper body strength because I didn’t do a hell of a lot with the muscles in my upper body. Once I started getting them going they rocked it.

Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. I have tight hips and weak calves. Like Tony says, if you blow the doors off a particular workout, that’s probably not the one you really need to be doing.

Still, The Challenge is fun.
