Workout – 2/7/14

Ok, if yesterday was a party, today was the come down to earth workout.

Today was CVX. Cardio… with weight.

Here’s the deal, you do a variety of moves, each for 1 minute at a time, holding a weight. I picked an 8 lb. medicine ball as my weight, and almost immediately regretted my choice. I thought, I can do this for a minute. Sure. But for 30 of those minutes strung together? EEEK!

Like I said yesterday, Tony Horton says it often – the workout that’s fun and easy for you, that’s the one you don’t need so much. The one that beats you up, makes you feel clumsy and tests your confidence and commitment… That’s the workout you need.

So, CVX is the workout I need. Arggh.
