Workout – 1/27/14

First day of recovery week has started pretty well. File this under “Recovery Week Doesn’t Mean Sit on the Sofa Eating Bon Bons.”

I had meetings all day at work, and was tied to the office for a full day, so I didn’t get to my workout until after dinner, so I decided to take a trip to the gym to go for an easy run on the treadmill. I did 2.71 miles. 2 of those were at a 9-minute mile pace. The rest was at a brisk walk.

I have to say I was pretty happy with being able to run like that since the only running I’ve done in the past few months has been during soccer games and doing Warrior Dash back at the end of October.

Tomorrow = yoga time.
