Workout – 1/14/14

I am the plank king. Even when I was seeing a physical therapist because my back was jacked up I was complimented by the PT for how awesome my form in the plank position was.

I say this because part of today’s workout, P90X2 P.A.P. Upper, involves a 60 second plank, albeit a plank with one’s feet elevated and balancing on a medicine ball and I’m really, really not good at it.

Seriously. I can do a 5 minute plank with my feet on the floor, but doing 60 seconds with my feet about 8 inches off the floor balancing on a med ball makes me wish for sweet, sweet death.

There might just be something to this instability training I’ve heard so much about.
