Workout – 12/16/13

Mondays are always the toughest for me, consistency-wise. Monday is the day when work is most likely to toss me a curve-ball, or some other issue is likely to come up. That’s what happened last week and caused me to have to shift my whole schedule for the rest of the week.

Today, not so bad. Managed to fit in my P90X2 Chest & Back & Balance workout late in the afternoon after most of the day’s work had been put to bed.

I mention the schedule thing because doing C+B+B the day after doing Base & Back is probably not the best idea in the world. The workouts are very similar, in the sense that they both involve lots of pull-ups. Chest & Back & Balance though has a lot more chest (duh, it’s in the name) and core work. But folks, my arms are officially toast now. As I type this, over a half hour since completing the routine, my arms are shaking.

Gee, I wonder why? Perhaps 80 pull-ups will do that to you.
